TATTOOS

I took a strange route into the world of tattooing. From the age of 16, my father purchased an eBay tattoo machine and he tattooed a matching clover from his wrist to mine. He gave me the cheap machine, and I started to mess up some of my friends legs with bad tattoos. 

After high school, I tried to get an apprenticeship at a reputable tattoo shop in my town. Something inside me told me to go to Art school instead.

Fast forward a few years, I had just finished my Junior year at MassArt. I used some money from COVID relief packages, and purchased some better quality machines. My plan was to do it as professionally, safe, and careful as I could, and it turns out a lot of my friends wanted tattoos. It was clear that I had a knack for it, and a business was starting to form. A friend and I constructed a half decent “shop” out of his garage, and I basically taught myself through repetition of tattooing. practice makes perfect.

After just six months, I was hired by a different tattoo shop in my town, where I currently work full time.
